The cable shoulder press is a compound overhead pressing exercise that strengthens the shoulders and triceps while engaging the core for stability. The constant cable resistance provides smooth tension throughout the movement.

Exercise Instructions
- Position both pulleys at approximately shoulder height.
- Attach a single handle to each cable.
- Hold the handles at shoulder level with your palms facing forward or inward.
- Stand tall with your core engaged.
- Press the handles upward until your arms are nearly straight.
- Pause briefly at the top without locking your elbows.
- Slowly lower the handles back to shoulder height.
- Repeat using controlled repetitions.

- Keep your core tight throughout the exercise.
- Press directly overhead.
- Keep your wrists straight.
- Maintain a smooth, controlled tempo.
Common Mistakes
- Arching the lower back.
- Locking the elbows aggressively.
